Harry and Andrea McMinn wish to announce that the Guthrie Grove Church congregation is invited to attend their daughter Wendy's marriage to Ryan Robinson next Saturday evening, Jun 28th, at 6 pm.

Lee McMinn will officiate at the 6 pm service here at Guthrie Grove.

We're saddened to learn of the death of long-time Church of God member, Freeman Pryor. Our sympathy to his only surviving sibling, Mrs. Juanita English. Funeral services were held this past Wednesday afternoon in Hendersonville.

We appreciate all who brought canned goods for the needy to last Tuesday evening's Sister's Act meeting. Donations can still be given to Lynda Grant.

Continue to remember the Africa Mission Team in your prayers (Joe & Rebekah Martin, Jim Mattison, and Vince Finnegan). This year's trip (Total of 32 days) consists of visits to 5 African nations.

Vacation Bible School (Directed by Myra and Amy Lanford) is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for Jul 13-17. This year's theme is "Power Lab- Where Kids Discover Jesus' Miraculous Power". If you'd like to assist with VBS, and haven't been asked, talk to Myra or Amy.

If interested in attending this year's General Conference meeting in Ohio, please speak to the pastor or Joe James. Based on membership, Guthrie Grove is allowed 5-6 delegates. Guest speakers include Ohio Pastors Scott Deane, Seth Ross, and Alan Cain. Workshop topics include, Leading Comeback Churches, Needs-Based Evangelism, Faith-Based Funding, GPS & Other Hi-Tech to Reach the Lost, Finding Faith in a Postmodern World, and Finding Faith in a Busy Family.

The Montgomery family arrived in South Carolina around this time 6 years ago. We enjoy serving & worshiping with you all, & greatly value your friendship, and have appreciated all your expressions of love and kindness.

Parents & students: The vans will depart from the church parking lot right after campers and staff finish their brown bag lunch in the Fellowship Hall. Camp registration begins at 3:00 pm.
