CD's of each night (Except Tuesday) will be made available in the near future. Attendance at last Sunday's Homecoming was 231. Please continue to invite your friends/family to join you for services.

Jesus is coming—Don't miss Him for the world!

All ladies of the church are invited to attend a drop-in baby shower for Ashley Hall on Sunday, August 17, in the church social hall from 3 to 5 pm. Ashley is registered at Babies ‘R us. It's a boy!

Congratulations to Pastor Jim Shaull upon receiving his minister's license from the licensing Board of the General Conference. Jim was recognized along with others at the Friday night's General Conference service. Dr. Daniel Siderius (MO) and Larry Bolhous (Oregon, IL) were elected to the Board of Directors.

Next year's General Conference will be held in Illinois.

The church has received the following thank-you cards:
"There are all kinds of thank you's- all very sincere, for help or for gifts, or for just being near. There are all kinds of thank you's for all kinds of things but none could mean more than the thank you this brings. Thank you for the prayers, cards, visits, and flowers during my stay in the hospital." Robert Hood
Dear church family, "A note to thank you for your kindness and to let you know that it meant a lot. We appreciate your visits, prayers, love and flowers during our mother's illness and now our time of grief. Gal. 6:10- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.." In Christian Love, the Paxton family

Volunteers are needed to help with games and character stations at the upcoming Spring Water Festival, Saturday, Aug 23rd.  Our youth will have special stage performances. Reserve a time slot that you can volunteer on the foyer sign-up sheet.

The Drama Team will be practicing and performing a mini-musical at the end of August. This will be open to youth ages 10-20 years. See Glennis Walters for information and a practice schedule.

The Guthrie Grove Volunteer Choir will once again present a Christmas Cantata. Joe & Susan have selected a musical entitled, "Joy, Joy, Joy, Celebrating the Season, the Story, the Savior". Please stay tuned for more info & rehearsal schedules.
